I'm Back!

I would like to begin with the Great Indian Custom (read --> Great Indian Talent) of providing explanations/excuses for not having updated my blog for long. So here it goes - its actually simple - I said "ssssooooon", which is s raised to the 4 * o raised to the 5 * n .... I actually have come back a lot sooner!! (Its alright, the "er" won't be counted :) ).

Before people start getting an irresistable urge to thrash me and trash my blog, I'll use a powerful pacifier - Sorry :) Real reason --> I was too lazy to update the blog... :-X

Okk... let's see.. what all happened in these few days of my life..

I serviced my bike twice,
I fell sick thrice.
I got a hike that made me feel nice,
until me got to know it wouldn't suffice.

Went to a distant land,
Beautiful were the water and the sand,
People always gave a helping hand,
But memories of home twiched my tear gland!!

Landed!! Back I was! Straight into a pothole(!!),
Oooh these stink, Bangalore roads! My mind burned like coal!
But wait!Felt my heart a happiness revelling like a fish shoal,
WHAT THE HECK!! This place makes me feel WHOLE! :)

I felt darn glad to be back home :)

BTW I went to Shivanasamudra falls on .. what else.. my PULSAR B-)

It was the peak of the rainy season, and the road had no resemblance to what I had seen a few months ago. There wasn't any road, only craters and potholes. The ride was so tough, I started feeling whether it was worth the effort.. but then... when I reached the place... it was, in one word, AWESOME.

I never imagined that there are places of such beauty so close to Bangalore!

Here is the link to the pics of the falls - ( look at them preferably on a large monitor, using full screen feature.. else they won't look that good )

I bought a canon sd400 camera during my visit to the US.. its a pretty handy one, very light, and has very good image quality. Its so tiny, we can just fit it in any pocket, including its case! But its looks so delicate, I usually handle it very carefully. I would say, its worth buying! The pics above were taken using this camera.

The CAT exam date is nearing.. all the best to the guys attending it :)

Sayyywhat, I think I'll think of writing CAT next year :D

Thats all for now guys...

BTW, wish you all a belated happy Deepavali!

Ciao!
